Mold Stopping Home Insurance

Take Steps To Prevent Mold From Destroying Your Property
As an agent it was Rich's job to inspect the exterior of homes. He found what looked like a huge wood burning pipe protruding form the roof. Rich asked the homeowner if they had the stove professionally installed or did they install per manufacturers specs. The owner said her husband installed it and asked if he wanted to see. Rich said that would be fine. Upon Rich's horror of entering the room, the entire ceiling was black ad it was not painted that color. The wife said that's just soot. Rich replied,no that is mold! She told Rich that she was not sick and throwing up. Rich asked her if she had low grade colds all the time that never seem to go away. The wife said yes. Rich told the wife that is how your family is with Mold.
What they did was took the porch away and made it into living space. Of course the roof was leaking and they did not ventilate the roof. They ran drywall right up to the roof line.
Rich got sick then he left. And no, this family did not get insurance on their house.
